In FY 2026, TCS and IIT Kanpur signed strategic partnership to pioneer AI-powered Urban Planning to address one of India’s most pressing challenges: Sustainable Urbanization.

India’s Largest Quantum Computer to be set up in the country’s First Quantum Valley Tech Park

TCS also partnered with IBM, the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the National Quantum Mission to establish Amaravati Quantum Valley (AQV), bringing IBM Quantum System Two, a 133-qubit Heron quantum processor, the largest quantum computer in India. AQV will be the hub of innovation and capability building in the emerging area of Quantum Computing in India.

Creating a Culture of Innovation

The Company continues to focus on building a culture of innovation across its talent value chain, through Program like:

TCS TechVantage Programme: Launched for fostering engineering talent within the Company. The Program recognizes technology talent within the Company by encouraging them to submit technical papers that are adjudged and awarded by a jury of peers. Through this Program, over 22,000 technologists were engaged across the Company.

The 13 season of TCS CodeVita™, a global programming contest saw huge global participation. TCS CodeVita™ 2025. This year’s edition marked a new benchmark, with 146,922 participants, earning TCS a new Guinness World Records title for the world’s largest computer programming competition, surpassing its previous record in year 2021.
